Position Overview:
\nTo facilitate staff travel for all Jhpiego program activities in the country. To manage to facilitate the smooth implementation of Jhpiego activities by ensuring the safe travel of Jhpiego staff and the security of the project vehicle.
\nResponsibilities.<\/p>\n
Driving Jhpiego staff for project work as required
\nEnsure that the project vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
\nPerform daily errands assigned and ensure all road safety accessories are secured in the project vehicle.
\nEnsure passengers adhere to all safety regulations, such as wearing safety belts.
\nConduct a weekly checklist of vehicle conditions and submit it to the supervisor for review.
\nEnsure the vehicle\u2019s security at all times.
\nAdherence to Jhpiego\u2019s vehicle use policy manual<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
Basic minimum Grade Twelve certificate
\nCertificate in any business-related field
\nExperience working as a driver, preferably in International Non-Governmental Organizations, for 2- 3 years
\nValid driver\u2019s license with 5 years of driving experience and defensive driving certification is an added advantage.
\nExperience in providing administrative assistance to a development project.
\nExcellent knowledge of traffic rules and road laws of Zambia.<\/p>\n
