\nThe Internal Controls Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing eShandi\u2019s internal control framework to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across PremierCredit Zambia Limited and its subsidiaries. This includes overseeing all business functions such as lending, payments, merchant services, embedded finance, cards, remittances, and IT-related processes. The role ensures that effective controls are integrated into daily operations, maintaining adherence to both regulatory standards and internal policies.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:
\n\u00b7 Develop, document and maintain eShandi\u2019s Internal Control policies and procedures in line with Bank of Zambia requirements, COSO principles and internal governance structures.
\n\u00b7 Integrate control mechanisms into operational processes across all products and services.
\n\u00b7 Conduct risk assessments to identify and address control weaknesses in business operations.
\n\u00b7 Perform periodic testing and monitoring of operational, financial and IT-related controls.
\n\u00b7 Review reconciliation processes for POS, ATM, cards, payments and remittance transactions.
\n\u00b7 Track resolution of control deficiencies and ensure timely follow-up.
\n\u00b7 Implement preventative and detective controls to minimize fraud, financial loss and operational disruptions.
\n\u00b7 Maintain segregation of duties across operational processes to reduce conflict-of-interest risks.
\n\u00b7 Ensure compliance with BoZ directives, AML\/CFT regulations, Data Protection Act and other relevant laws.
\n\u00b7 Work with Compliance, Risk and IT teams to ensure alignment with operational control requirements.
\nQualifications:
\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
\n\u00b7 Certifications (preferred): CPA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA, or CISA.
\n\u00b7 Minimum 5 years in internal controls, operational risk, or audit \u2014 ideally in financial services, fintech, or banking.
\n\u00b7 Solid understanding of payment systems, lending operations and IT system controls.
\n2. HEAD OF INTERNAL AUDIT
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0JOB BRIEF
\nThe Head of Internal Audit will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services aimed at enhancing the overall operations of eShandi. This role will assess and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements across PremierCredit Zambia Limited and all its subsidiaries. The role will help ensure operational integrity and alignment with industry best practices.

\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:
\n\u00b7 Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan aligned with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
\n\u00b7 Advise the Board Audit Committee on emerging risks audit findings and recommended actions.
\n\u00b7 Ensure compliance with BoZ, FIC, SEC, PCI DSS, Data Protection, AML\/CFT and cross-border payment regulations.
\n\u00b7 Oversee operational, financial, IT and compliance audits across all eShandi entities.
\n\u00b7 Monitor resolution of audit findings and track corrective action implementation.
\n\u00b7 Oversee adherence to internal policies and industry best practices.
\n\u00b7 Partner with Risk & Compliance to ensure early identification and mitigation of\u00a0 \u00a0key risks.
\n\u00b7 Present quarterly audit reports to the Board Audit Committee.
\n\u00b7 Liaise with external auditors and regulators on audit-related matters.
\nQualifications:
\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA preferred.
\n\u00b7 10+ years\u2019 experience in internal audit, with at least 5 years in senior leadership in fintech, banking, or financial services.
\n\u00b7 Strong understanding of digital payments, lending operations, IT systems and cybersecurity.
\n\u00b7 Risk-based auditing, regulatory compliance, leadership, influencing senior stakeholders, data analytics for audit.

\nThe Financial & Operations Audit Manager will lead financial and operational audits to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of eShandi\u2019s core financial and business processes across PremierCredit Zambia Limited and all its subsidiaries. This role will evaluate key operational areas, assess internal controls, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards and company policies to drive operational excellence.
\n\u00a0Key Duties and Responsibilities:
\n\u00b7 Develop and execute risk-based audit programs for finance, operations and lending.
\n\u00b7 Conduct audits of loan origination, credit management, collections, merchant services and agency banking.
\n\u00b7 Assess adequacy of internal controls over accounting, treasury, procurement and revenue recognition.
\n\u00b7 Verify compliance with IFRS, BoZ and tax regulations.
\n\u00b7 Prepare audit reports with findings, risk ratings and actionable recommendations.
\n\u00b7 Monitor implementation of agreed corrective measures.
\n\u00b7 Conduct special investigations into suspected fraud or financial irregularities.
\n\u00b7 Work with IT Audit Manager to assess end-to-end process risks, especially where tech integrates with financial operations.
\nQualifications:
\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA\/ACCA an advantage.
\n\u00b7 5\u20137 years\u2019 experience in internal audit, financial services, or banking operations.

\n4.\u00a0\u00a0I.T & SYSTEM AUDIT MANAGER
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 JOB BRIEF
\nThe IT & Systems Audit Manager will lead audits of eShandi\u2019s IT infrastructure, applications, and information security controls across PremierCredit Zambia Limited and all its subsidiaries. This role will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems that support financial services, assessing internal controls to safeguard eShandi\u2019s technology environment and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:
\n\u00b7\u00a0 Conduct audits of core banking systems, payment gateways, POS\/ATM networks, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
\n\u00b7 Review PCI DSS compliance for card issuance\/acquiring and data protection compliance.
