\nOkavango Foods Limited, a leading food production company supplying supermarkets, hotels, and lodges across Zambia, is seeking a passionate and proactive\u00a0HR Intern\u00a0to join our team for a 6-month internship.
\nThis internship offers hands-on experience in human resources, working directly with our HR Consultant to support daily operations and strategic HR initiatives, including managing staff KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist in recruitment activities, including shortlisting and scheduling interviews.
\nMaintain and update employee records in both physical and digital formats.
\nSupport onboarding and induction of new staff.
\nAssist in organizing training and development programs.
\nHelp ensure compliance with company HR policies and Zambian labor laws.
\nAssist in tracking, updating, and reporting on staff KPIs for all departments.
\nCollaborate with department heads to ensure KPI data is accurate and up to date.
\nPrepare HR-related reports and documentation as assigned.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills<\/p>\n
Final-year student or recent graduate in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
\nRegistered member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) \u2013 attach proof of membership.
\nStrong understanding of HR metrics and performance management is an advantage.
\nKnowledge of Zambian labor laws is an advantage.
\nStrong organizational and communication skills.
\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\nHigh level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
\nMust live in Woodlands or the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n
Internship Details<\/p>\n
Duration: 6 months (with possibility of further engagement based on performance).
\nMonthly stipend provided.
\nMust be Lusaka-based and available to start immediately.<\/p>\n
