{"id":4815,"date":"2025-08-13T08:00:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T08:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/accountant-at-confidential\/"},"modified":"2025-11-13T00:14:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T00:14:24","slug":"accountant-at-confidential","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4815","title":{"rendered":"Accountant at Confidential"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for an accountant who has a good knowledge in working with pastel software.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRoles will be<br \/>\nFinancial Record-Keeping<br \/>\nRecording daily transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).<br \/>\nPosting into accounting software (Pastel)<br \/>\nAccounts Receivable &amp; Payable<br \/>\nMonitoring customer accounts<br \/>\nFollowing up on outstanding payments.<br \/>\nVerifying supplier invoices and processing payments.<br \/>\nInventory Accounting<br \/>\nMatching purchase orders, goods received, and invoices.<br \/>\nValuation of inventory (FIFO, Weighted Average).<br \/>\nMonitoring expiry dates and adjustments for write-offs.<br \/>\nBank Reconciliations<br \/>\nReconciling bank statements with internal records.<br \/>\nVerifying cash and MPESA\/Bank deposits match daily sales.<br \/>\nPayroll Processing<br \/>\nPreparing salaries, statutory deductions (NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE).<br \/>\nEnsuring timely submission to ZRA and other bodies.<br \/>\nTax Compliance<br \/>\nFiling VAT, PAYE, income tax returns.<br \/>\nKeeping proper documentation for ZRA audits.<br \/>\nReporting<br \/>\nGenerating financial reports: P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.<br \/>\nBudgeting and forecasting.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
