{"id":4816,"date":"2025-08-13T08:00:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T08:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/treasury-sales-dealer-at-united-bank-for-africa-z-ltd\/"},"modified":"2025-08-16T00:14:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T00:14:09","slug":"treasury-sales-dealer-at-united-bank-for-africa-z-ltd","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4816","title":{"rendered":"Treasury Sales Dealer at United Bank for Africa (Z) Ltd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Department: Treasury<br \/>\nEssential Information:<br \/>\nDeepen the bank\u2019s Sales &amp; trading at the interbank market for visibility and profitability<br \/>\nReporting Relationships:<br \/>\nFunctionally reports to the Head, Treasury Sales<br \/>\nJob Duties:<br \/>\nAssist with the formulation of sales and trading strategies for trading activities<br \/>\nConduct the dealing\/trading in interbank foreign exchange markets and Money Markets<br \/>\nSelling existing and new FX products to internal and external clients<br \/>\nCarry out proprietary trading on behalf of the bank<br \/>\nEnsure all trading is done within profitability limits<br \/>\nMonitor global currency markets for rates movements<br \/>\nManage and develop existing relationships between current customers and potential customers<br \/>\nConduct market Intelligence and analysis<br \/>\nAnalyze SBU performance<br \/>\nLocal and foreign market news dissemination<br \/>\nEnsure prompt report generation for internal contacts as requested<br \/>\nMeet and surpass customer needs on all sales and trading transactions<br \/>\nTimely and efficient service delivery to customers<br \/>\nCross sell Treasury products to existing customers and prospect for new businesses<br \/>\nGenerate mandates and selling down lines created by funds management<br \/>\nIncrease business volume of utilization of Treasury products<br \/>\nKey Performance Indicators:<br \/>\nRevenue Growth<br \/>\nBusiness Volume on Forex Trading<br \/>\nAccuracy of deal execution and capture in the system<br \/>\nCustomer satisfaction levels<br \/>\nLevel of compliance to regulatory regulations<br \/>\nQuality of reports generated<br \/>\nSkills:<br \/>\nStrong trading skills<br \/>\nGood Customer Service<br \/>\nRelationship Management<br \/>\nStrong negotiation skills<br \/>\nGood Oral &amp; Written communication<br \/>\nJob Requirements &amp; Knowledge:<br \/>\nGood knowledge and understanding of the Foreign exchange market<br \/>\nTrading Knowledge<br \/>\nFinancial Regulatory Laws<br \/>\nBanking Laws<br \/>\nApplication requirements:<br \/>\nMinimum of a first degree in a business related field from a recognized University with at least a Credit or better.<br \/>\nGrade Twelve Certificate with at least Five (05) Credits of better, including Mathematics and English.<br \/>\nZAQA verified certificates<br \/>\nACI Dealing Certificate<br \/>\nMasters\u2019 degree in Finance and other business-related disciplines and Professional qualification will be an added advantage<br \/>\nAt least 2 years\u2019 work experience in Treasury<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
