\nTRANSPORT COORDINATOR\u2013 HUNTLEY FARM (x1)
\nThe Required Skills for this Role Include:<\/p>\n
\u00b7Planning and coordinating daily transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal routes.
\nScheduling vehicles based on available resources, demand, and delivery deadlines.
\nEnsuring that the transport fleet is maintained and available for operations.
\nConstantly monitoring on Geotab, V-track (ensuring vehicles reach in time and use agreed route of delivery and adherence to company procedures
\nUpdating of the Logistics attendance register daily and accurately
\nUpdating the network truck log sheet
\nEnsuring that vehicles are compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
\nMonitoring fuel usage and vehicle performance.
\nWorking hand in hand with truck log officer on driver and vehicle availability
\nIdentifying underperforming vehicles and escalating (utilization)
\nPosting result on the trip review sheet
\nAnalysing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
\nUsing GPS or routing software to ensure timely delivery.
\nCoordinating with drivers for assignment of transport tasks.
\nProviding regular training to drivers on safe driving practices and the efficient use of vehicles
\nEnsuring incidents are recorded and reported to Senior Supervisors
\nCompletion of trip review forms and escalation after analysis
\nPreparing journey management for all drivers and assignments accurately
\nMaintaining accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and driver logs
\nMonitoring transportation costs and work to identify areas for cost savings.
\nEnsuring that transport operations are within the company\u2019s budget and cost-effective.
\nReporting and investigating any incidents or accidents related to transport activities.<\/p>\n
The Required Qualifications are:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nMinimum Diploma in Logistics and Transport
\nMinimum 2 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related role.
\nMust be Computer Literate<\/p>\n
The Required Attributes Include:<\/p>\n
Accuracy and attention to detail
\nMust be computer literate
\nAbility to deal with multiple priorities
\nMust be familiar with Zambeef products and food industry business.
\nAbility to work with minimum supervision

\nBROILER MANAGER \u2013 HUNTLEY FARM (1)
\nThe Required Skills for this Role Include:<\/p>\n
Managing broiler flocks, ensuring optimal growth, health, and welfare.
\nOverseeing feed and water supply to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
\nMonitoring flock health, implementing biosecurity measures, and managing veterinary care.
\nMeeting production targets for weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality rates.
\nEnsuring timely delivery of feed, chicks, and other essential supplies.
\nCoordinating with hatchery and processing plant for chick placements and harvest schedules.
\nTraining, supervising, and motivating farm workers; managing labour schedules and task assignments.
\nMonitoring and maintaining all farm equipment and infrastructure in good working condition.
\nEnsuring adherence to company policies, environmental standards, and animal welfare regulations.
\nConducting regular audits and maintaining production records and reports.<\/p>\n
The Required Qualifications are:<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 Certificate
\nDegree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field
\nMinimum 3 years of experience managing broiler operations.
\nStrong understanding of poultry nutrition, biosecurity, and disease control<\/p>\n

Prior hands-on experience managing broiler operations
\nAbility to Supervise and motivate farm staff.
\nStrong decision-making skills under pressure.
