\nDATA ENTRY CLERK \u2013 KALUNDU DAIRY (1)
\nThe Required Skills for this Role Include:<\/p>\n
Collecting Dairy and processing of herd data into the Herd management Systems (Dimssa and Delpro);
\nEntering Heats and Artificial insemination (AI) to update calving\u2019s, Dry Offs, Pregnant determination PD\u2019s and group transfers\/change
\nRecording different ailments and treatments as recommended by the veterinarian and removal of animals from the system \u2013 (Animals sold or died)
\nUpdating post \u2013 partum information, sorting cows for different herd activities
\nRecording of vaccination into Dimssa herd management system and select animals ready for PD\u2019s ONO, PPE and SYNC
\nFilling of all herd reports and other vet activities report
\nDairy completion of the potential problem animals list
\nDry Offs overdue \u2013 Animals still lactating and have passed the projected dry date \/calving Overdue \u2013 Pregnant animals should have calved already
\nLow yield \u2013 Animals still lactating but latest yields are below the minimum \/ Breeding Overdue animals is not mated and beyond the specified days since or birth
\nSupplying the steaming and youngstock supervisors on a monthly basis with the growth weight list for weighing the youngstock and make sure data is entered into the system. Steam \u2013 up overdue, animal is due for steam up and she is not in steam up production group.
\nEnsuring animals in the system tally with the physical on the ground and submit figures to the accounts officer.
\nProviding herd information and reports to the end users<\/p>\n
The Required Qualifications are:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate including English and Mathematics
\nCertificate in Animal health \/ Animal science \/ Computer Related Studies
\nComputer Literacy, Excel and Word
\nMinimum two (2) years of experience in related field.<\/p>\n
