{"id":4835,"date":"2025-08-13T18:02:19","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T18:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/applications-development-specialist-permanent-and-pensionable-at-zambia-qualifications-authority\/"},"modified":"2025-08-23T00:14:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T00:14:10","slug":"applications-development-specialist-permanent-and-pensionable-at-zambia-qualifications-authority","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4835","title":{"rendered":"Applications Development Specialist (Permanent and Pensionable) at Zambia Qualifications Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) is a statutory body established pursuant to the Zambia Qualifications Authority Act No. 8 of 2024 to develop, oversee and maintain a national qualifications framework for Zambia; verify local and foreign qualifications, register qualifications and ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.<br \/>\nZAQA is currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:<br \/>\nAPPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (Permanent and Pensionable)<br \/>\nOverall Responsibilities<br \/>\nTo undertake the design, development, acquisition and maintenance of software platforms in order to facilitate efficient delivery of services.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\ni) Full Grade 12 School Certificate;<br \/>\nii) Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Studies or its equivalent;<br \/>\niii) Member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia or Engineering Institution of Zambia;<br \/>\niv) At least 4 years\u2019 experience in design, development, acquisition and maintenance of applications;<br \/>\nv) Excellent knowledge of C#, PHP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python;<br \/>\nvi) Excellent knowledge of API programming;<br \/>\nvii) Excellent knowledge of MySQL and SQL;<br \/>\nviii) Ability to write technical and analytical reports;<br \/>\nix) Ability to communicate effectively in English; and<br \/>\nx) Qualifications under (i) and (ii) MUST be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority and verification\/evaluation certificates submitted together with the application;<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
