\nWe are therefore inviting applications to fill the below vacant positions for our Kalumbila Sentinel Site.
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PLANNING AND RELIABILITY SUPERINTENDENT X 1
\nThis position reports to the Planning and Reliability Manager. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead the maintenance planning team to develop, implement, and optimize short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans.
\nChampion the reliability program by identifying root causes of equipment failure and driving corrective actions.
\nImplement and manage predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
\nLiaise with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve asset reliability and performance.
\nEnsure maintenance strategies are aligned with OEM specifications and best practices.
\nManage CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to ensure accurate asset data and work history.
\nPrepare and present reliability reports, KPIs, and equipment performance trends.
\nTrain and mentor junior staff in planning and reliability practices.
\nEnsure all activities are conducted in compliance with company HSE standards and statutory regulations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience<\/p>\n
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in mining or heavy industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
\nStrong background in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and root cause analysis.
\nExperience with maintenance software.
\nDemonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n\u00a0 Knowledge of Zambia\u2019s mining regulations and HSE standards is an advantage.
\nMust have a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0SENIOR MAINTENANCE PLANNER X 1
\nThis position reports to the\u00a0Planning and Reliability Superintendent. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment.
\nDevelop, schedule, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans for fixed and mobile equipment.
\nReview and refine work orders, ensuring accurate scoping, resource estimation, and materials planning.
\nCoordinate closely with maintenance execution teams to ensure timely and effective job completion.
\nMonitor equipment performance and maintenance history to improve planning accuracy and asset reliability.
\nManage and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with all relevant maintenance data.
\nEnsure maintenance plans align with OEM recommendations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
\nWork closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of critical spares and materials.
\nProvide mentoring and technical guidance to junior planners and technicians.
\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause failure analysis processes.
\nPromote and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance in all maintenance planning activities.<\/p>\n
