This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of supply chain for all hotel supplies.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nManage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and vendor selection to purchase order placement and delivery tracking.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and optimize cost savings without compromising quality or delivery times<br \/>\nConduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.<br \/>\nNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for money.<br \/>\nPrepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company procedures.<br \/>\nMonitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs, ensuring continuous availability of critical supplies.<br \/>\nCollaborate closely with various departments (Operations &amp; Administration) to understand their procurement requirements.<br \/>\nResolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers, including delivery delays, quality concerns, or billing errors.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate procurement records, databases, and reports.<br \/>\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.<br \/>\nReceiving purchase requisitions from end-user departments.<br \/>\nQualifications:<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.<br \/>\nDiploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.<br \/>\nProfessional qualification in Procurement\/Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS) is highly desirable.<br \/>\nProfessional membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).<br \/>\nMinimum three (3) years of work experience in a similar position, preferably within the hospitality industry.<br \/>\nKnowledge and Skills Requirements<br \/>\nStrategic and leadership skills<br \/>\nAbility to work collaboratively with internal and external leaders of key stakeholders.<br \/>\nExcellent problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to forecast demand and identify cost drivers.<br \/>\nStrong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and ethics.<br \/>\nExcellent reporting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nProficiency in computer packages (Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel).<br \/>\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical skills.<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
