We design, build, and operate high-volume transaction systems, including tolling platforms, fuel management solutions, and digital payment technologies. Our products process millions of transactions every month, serving both the public and private sectors.
\nWe are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Software Developer to support our senior development team in delivering high-quality, impactful technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Junior Developer, you will work closely with senior developers and other team members to:<\/p>\n
Assist in designing, developing, and testing web and mobile applications.
\nSupport API development and integration work.
\nHelp maintain and enhance existing systems under the guidance of senior staff.
\nParticipate in mobile application development for iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks.
\nContribute to tasks involving cloud infrastructure (AWS).
\nWrite and maintain technical documentation.
\nStay current with coding best practices and relevant technologies.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills We Value
\nCandidates with experience in some of the following areas are encouraged to apply:<\/p>\n
Frontend: React, Bootstrap, Figma.
\nBackend: PHP (Laravel, bare-bone) \u2013 Required; Java (Spring Boot); JavaScript (Node.js); Python (Django).
\nAPIs: REST, GraphQL.
\nDatabases: MySQL, MongoDB.
\nMobile: Native iOS and Android, React Native.
\nVersion Control: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
\nCloud: AWS.<\/p>\n
You do not need to have mastered all of these, but you should have a willingness to learn and apply new skills quickly.
\nWhat We Are Looking For<\/p>\n
Minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 software development experience (including internships and freelance work).
\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\nEagerness to learn from senior developers and expand your technical knowledge.
\nGood communication and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n
Salary
\nThis role offers a salary range of ZMW 6,000 to 12,000, based on experience, technical skills, and demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to projects.
