Through your ability to build trust, encourage risk-taking, and nurture courageous conversations, you promote an environment where individuals can thrive and collaborate effectively.<br \/>\nPOSITION OVERVIEW<br \/>\nThe Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day warehouse activities of receipt, dispatching, and storage of inventories and goods in our warehouses.<br \/>\nS\/he will be responsible for supervising the Warehouse Officers during packing, repackaging, picking and ensuring ongoing compliance with safety and security protocols. This position will support in ensuring the Warehouses\u2019 layout design, implementation processes flow, and documentation are aligned with established best practices and organizational needs.<br \/>\nIn addition, the Warehouse Coordinator will consistently apply established warehouse standards and procedures in compliance with Healthy Learners policies and regulations while maintaining international and local supply chain accountability standards requirements.<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nImplement warehouse management policies, procedures, and regulations.<br \/>\nEstablish and maintain well-designed warehouses based on industry standards, procedures and best practices.<br \/>\nKeep warehouses in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.<br \/>\nEnsure warehousing storage facilities, equipment and supplies are organized, secured and maintained in excellent condition.<br \/>\nMaintain a database of equipment, supplies, and other goods.<br \/>\nManage stock control: receipt, positive release, storage, packing materials, timely delivery of materials, transferring materials to the correct area, and correct document recording, labeling and data entry into the IT system etc.<br \/>\nMaintain an up-to-date stock ledger; ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation on all inventories and goods across warehouse locations.<br \/>\nOversee coordination of all materials to ensure they are moved, stored and segregated correctly in the warehouse.<br \/>\nImplement an inventory replenishment system to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained per departmental needs.<br \/>\nConduct routine warehouse and inventory inspections.<br \/>\nIdentify and prepare reports in cases of damages and\/or loss identified in the warehouse.<br \/>\nReport materials due for expiry and manage disposal of these items.<br \/>\nCoordinate with the logistics team to schedule the timely dispatch and delivery of goods.<br \/>\nMaintain up-to-date information on the status of inbound and outbound movement of goods.<br \/>\nPlan and supervise the routine work of Warehouse Officers.<br \/>\nSKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\nBA\/BSC degree in a related field of study<br \/>\nFour years of relevant experience Proficient knowledge and understanding of inventory management and control principles.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of warehouse systems and software management.<br \/>\nComprehensive knowledge of inventory flow processes and documentation<br \/>\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)<br \/>\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.<br \/>\nGood verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\nStrong collaboration and problem-solving skills<br \/>\nWillingness to receive constructive feedback and improve<br \/>\nExperience with database\/warehouse software management systems is an added advantage.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of construction material quantification and costing skills is an added advantage<br \/>\nPassion for Healthy Learners mission and vision<br \/>\nMembership of a relevant professional body.<br \/>\nWHAT WE OFFER<br \/>\nOpportunity for Impact: Play a pivotal role in implementing a program that improves health outcomes for millions of schoolchildren, shaping the future of communities across Africa.<br \/>\nCompetitive Compensation: Receive a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects your expertise and commitment.<br \/>\nProfessional Growth: Access ongoing training, leadership opportunities, and engage in innovative projects that challenge and inspire you.<br \/>\nSupportive Culture: Join a passionate, dedicated team that values collaboration and mutual support, fostering an environment where all contributions are recognized.<br \/>\nNetworking Opportunities: Collaborate with international organizations and enhance your network and influence in the public health sector.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
