It is located in Mindolo, Kitwe District on the Copperbelt Province of Zambia<br \/>\nApplications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacant position at Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation.<br \/>\nGENERAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE MAN<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMEF is looking for a General Maintenance Service Man on contractual basis at Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation Campus in Mindolo Kitwe. S\/he will be responsible for management of the institution\u2019s inventory including Buildings and operation of Two (2) Biogas Systems.<br \/>\nReports to: Executive Director<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:<br \/>\nKeeping and maintaining records of the input\/output of the Biogas Systems<br \/>\nEnsuring safe and effective operation of 2 Biogas Systems<br \/>\nGeneral maintenance and repair of the Biogas Systems<br \/>\nReporting regularly to the Executive Director to provide updates on all inventory issues and all aspects of property development, building maintenance, health &amp; safety<br \/>\nManagement of the institution\u2019s Asset register ensuring that a record of all the institution\u2019s inventory is maintained<br \/>\nMonitoring and controlling the use of facilities<br \/>\nMaking recommendations for routine and non-routine maintenance to buildings, equipment, furniture, fittings and fixtures thereby ensuring a safe working environment<br \/>\nPlanning, executing and coordinating all approved procurement and disposal of the institution\u2019s inventory<br \/>\nPerforming any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor<br \/>\nQualification and Experience<br \/>\nFull Grade 12 School Certificate\/GCE<br \/>\nMinimum Certificate in Construction, Maintenance, Facilities management or related field<br \/>\nAt least One (1) year working experience<br \/>\nDesirable Skills and Abilities<br \/>\nInnovative<br \/>\nAble to promote proper safety protocols<br \/>\nProficiency with hand and power tools used in the construction industry<br \/>\nExcellent inter-personal and communication skills<br \/>\nHave a strong sense of personal and work accountability<br \/>\nAble to multitask<br \/>\nAGE: \u00a025 years and above<br \/>\nCommencement of duty: 1st September 2025<br \/>\nBackground: Strong Christian background and able to work in an Ecumenical Environment.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
