\nThe company invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position in the Human Resources department:
\nREGISTERED NURSE MIDWIFE x 3 \u2013 PERMANENT
\nThis position will be reporting to the Nursing Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Provide quality bedside nursing care to inpatients, ensuring adherence to nursing protocols and patient safety standards.
\nPerform triage assessments, manage emergencies, and deliver critical care in high-pressure settings.
\nCollaborate effectively with doctors, medical licentiates, and clinical officers in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patient progress.
\nDeliver comprehensive Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal care, and family planning.
\nAdminister and manage Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), including counselling, patient monitoring, adherence support, and pharmacovigilance.
\nExecute a range of standard nursing procedures with competence, including Phlebotomy (blood sample collection), Intravenous (IV) line insertion, Urinary catheterisation, Wound cleaning and dressing, Oral and intramuscular (IM) drug administration.
\nProvide psychosocial counselling to patients and families as needed (added advantage).
\nMaintain accurate patient records and support the implementation of health programs and protocols.
\nUndertake any other duties that may be assigned by the Nursing Officer in line with the scope of practice.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better.
\nDiploma in Registered Nursing from a recognised institution.
\nAdvanced Diploma in Midwifery from a recognised institution.
\nAdvanced Diploma in ART Management.
\nPreferably five (5) years of relevant nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting
\nMust be fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ).
\nMust possess a valid practicing license.
\nSuitably qualified applicants must provide certificates verified by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).<\/p>\n
