{"id":4942,"date":"2025-08-20T14:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T14:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/warehouse-managers-depot-managers-x25-at-portland-commodities-zambia-pcz\/"},"modified":"2025-08-24T00:14:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T00:14:12","slug":"warehouse-managers-depot-managers-x25-at-portland-commodities-zambia-pcz","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4942","title":{"rendered":"Warehouse Managers\/Depot Managers x25 at Portland Commodities Zambia (PCZ)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT<br \/>\nLusaka based company dealing with Agriculture, logistics and supply is looking for suitable candidates to fill in the positions of warehouse managers.<br \/>\nWAREHOUSE \/DEPOT MANAGERS X 25 POSITIONS<br \/>\nBASIC FUNCTION<br \/>\nTo perform a variety of warehouse management duties for the company, with a principal focus on optimization of warehouse operations and supply chain functions.<br \/>\nCHARACTERISTIC DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nPerform key warehouse management functions.<br \/>\nSupervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of soya beans, maize, and other agricultural traded commodities.<br \/>\nOversee the accurate raising of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Delivery Notes (DNs).<br \/>\nEnsure proper stacking and storage of commodities to prevent damage and maintain quality.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and warehouse operations.<br \/>\nImplement and enforce warehouse safety and security procedures.<br \/>\nCollaborate with other PCZ staff members to ensure optimization or seamless operations.<br \/>\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\nA Grade 12 certificate with a minimum of diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (Agriculture, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management).<br \/>\nProven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a busy warehouse, preferably dealing with maize, soya beans, and other agricultural traded commodities.<br \/>\nShould possess knowledge in agro-chemicals, fertilizers, soya beans and maize, including their handling, storage, and quality control.<br \/>\nPast experience in raising GRNs and DNs.<br \/>\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
