ZHECT is also a capacity leader and has a wealth of experience in providing Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV prevention and mitigation services to organizations and communities mainly in Zambia. ZHECT also works in the area of Gender Based Violence and Economic Empowerment among vulnerable and hard to reach communities.<br \/>\nZHECT has been awarded a grant from the Global Fund through the University Teaching Hospital (UTH)\u2019s HIV\/AIDS Program (UTH-HAP) under grant 3687-ZMB-C-MOH, titled \u201cAccelerating Towards Epidemic Control II\u201d to provide HIV\/AIDS prevention services in Itezhi-tezhi and Namwala and districts of Southern province of Zambia. This support is provided through the Ministry of Health to implement activities aligned with the goals and targets as outlined in the Global Fund Framework Agreement.<br \/>\nB.\u00a0\u00a0 PROGRAM GOALS &amp; OBJECTIVES<br \/>\nB.1: Program Goals<br \/>\nTo improve health outcomes among Adolescent and Young People (AYP) in districts through innovative and collaborative efforts in HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support, in alignment with Funding 3687, ZMB \u2013 C \u2013 MOH objectives.<br \/>\nB.2 Program Objectives<br \/>\nThe project will be innovative in addressing the objectives of the funding 3687, ZMB \u2013 C \u2013 MOH through:<br \/>\ni.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strengthening local authorities and community-based leadership through mentorship and building capacity of both healthcare workers and community-based actors, whilst demanding accountability from all players, through improved health outcomes among Adolescent and Young People (AYP).<br \/>\nii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Enhancing and improving program priorities for adolescents and young people in HIV prevention, treatment care and support; enable commodity availability for prevention and treatment through collaborative efforts with ZAMMSA and local authorities.<br \/>\niii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Optimizing delivery for HIV prevention services including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and other biomedical prevention services.<br \/>\niv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strengthening integration of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and screening of viral hepatitis and cervical cancer into HIV services to ensure a more comprehensive healthcare approach.<br \/>\nv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Program integration of human resources for health, capacity building through life skills training and support strengthening of M&amp;E systems and ensure there are necessary staff compliments for both the clinical mentorship and social skills programs.<br \/>\nvi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strengthening evidence-based behavioural interventions meant to curb the spread and transmission of HIV among the AYP.<br \/>\nData Associates (DAs): 2 Positions<br \/>\nThe Data Associate shall work with and under the supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in managing all project data entry and analysis activities at district level. He\/she will assist the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation unit in revising, developing, implementing and maintaining the project data management system.\u00a0 He\/She shall also assist the M&amp;E Officer in overseeing project M&amp;E activities in co-ordination with the project team as well as documentation of project results.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nReceive data from sites and enter into project spread sheet<br \/>\nCompile monthly summation forms, verify accuracy and sort information accordingly and enter in the database (such as DHIS2 database).<br \/>\nTogether with the M&amp;E Officer, provide guidance to the volunteers on the M&amp;E system, tools, data quality and management.<br \/>\nSupport capacity-building for Lay Counsellors and Behaviour Change Communication cadres to improve use and operation of project M&amp;E systems.<br \/>\nReview data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check completeness of data forms.<br \/>\nGenerate weekly reports, store completed work in a designated location and perform backup operations.<br \/>\nReview project monitoring data, analyze and provide feedback where necessary monthly.<br \/>\nParticipate in preparation of various reports including the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports timely with accurate data.<br \/>\nEnsure proper use of office equipment, report any malfunctions as soon as noticed and provide technical assistance to mentors using tablets.<br \/>\nFile data accordingly after entering in the database.<br \/>\nParticipate in conducting project Data Quality Assessments.<br \/>\nRequired Qualifications:<br \/>\nDiploma or higher in social sciences, public health, statistics, computer science or other relevant fields.<br \/>\nProven work experience in data entry will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nExcellent writing, oral and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.<br \/>\nAbility to initiate and implement activities with minimal supervision, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br \/>\nWell-developed computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Familiarity and experience with computer databases and management information systems.<br \/>\nProven knowledge and experience in program M&amp;E data management and quality assurance, including data entry, cleaning, analysis, interpretation and reporting.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proven experience working on an HIV\/AIDS or health project in Zambia will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nAbility and willingness to travel for site supervision and data collection and quality checks in project sites within the district.<br \/>\nWork Experience:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must have experience working in data collection and\/or Monitoring and Evaluation.<br \/>\nRequired Attributes and Competences:<br \/>\nDevoted individuals with good interpersonal communication, team building, and writing skills<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
