\nLEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
\nReporting to:\u00a0Head People and Culture
\nLocation:\u00a0Head Office \u2013 Lusaka
\nPurpose of the position:
\nThe learning & development Officer is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization\u2019s employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental need to drive training initiatives, identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance and recognize performance
\nResponsibilities
\nLearning & Development<\/p>\n
Evaluate strategies and annual plans, performance appraisal results and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and liaise with HODs to identify need for learning and development that facilitate the effective execution of business plans.
\nProvide support to VFZ in conducting specific needs analysis for L&D, designing learning solutions and sourcing service providers required to meet identified needs
\nAdvise on learning and development resources available locally across the all departments\u00b7 Prepare annual training calendar and budget
\nTracking PIPs
\nProvide evaluation reports of locally coordinated learning interventions \u00b7
\nMonitor & maintain processes and measures for determining the impact of learning and development activities to support required reports and analytics as required to aid decision making.
\nTrack all global & regional compliance training<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
Review VFZ strategic and annual plans, liaise with divisions to identify need for changes to the organization\u2019s structure.
\nManage staff onboarding (orientation) process
\nProvide appraisal support to line managers and ensure SMART goal alignment
\nLead initiatives to create and enhance awareness and skills amongst managers to adequately drive performance \/ work plans
\nEnsure appraisal compliance across VFZ
\nTrack & support performance improvement processes
\nCreation & maintenance of organizations\u2019 organogram
\nManage job evaluations in compliance with the region
\nRemedial action for all L&D initiatives
\nEnsure compliance of all L&D procedures and processes Prepare reports for the partnership
\nEffectively linking performance, learning & development to achieve ideal performance<\/p>\n

Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities and participate in devotions.
\nPerform other duties as required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications: Education\/Knowledge\/Technical Skills and Experience
\nThe following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in relevant field
\nFive years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs
\nCertified professional in learning & performance (CPLP) credentials preferred
\nDiploma\/Certificate in Law will be an added advantage
\nExcellent communication, management, staff engagement & facilitating skills
\nStrong technical skills with practical experience in conflict resolution
\nCommunications, interpersonal, analytical, conflict management, negotiation and networking skills are highly desired
\nMastery in MS Suit with a bias inn Word, Excel & PowerPoint
\nCapacity to function well in a team and contribute effectively to team efforts<\/p>\n
