You will conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and promote safety awareness among staff. Your role is vital in preventing accidents and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n-Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on-site.<br \/>\n-Develop, implement, and review safety policies and procedures.<br \/>\n-Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.<br \/>\n-Coordinate safety training and awareness programs for employees.<br \/>\n-Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards.<br \/>\n-Maintain safety records and documentation.<br \/>\n-Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.<br \/>\n-Promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.<br \/>\nRequirements:<br \/>\n-Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health &amp; Safety, or related field.<br \/>\n-Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a safety role, preferably in mining\/construction industries.<br \/>\n-Knowledge of Zambia\u2019s Occupational Health and Safety regulations.<br \/>\n-Valid First Aid and Fire Safety certificates.<br \/>\n-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n-Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.<br \/>\n-Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety excellence.<br \/>\n-Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is an added advantage.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
