A transport and logistics Company is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of\u00a0Management Accountant\u00a0to support the operations of the organization.
\nDuties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage inter company accounting reporting
\nGeneral Accounting Activities \u2013 to help oversee the general accounting practices required by the Company and to this end.
\nBalance Sheet reconciliations for AR & Bank accounts to be reviewed and signed off by the Finance Manager.
\nKeep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions etc, in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
\nPrepare intercompany reports and perform reconciliations regarding intercompany cost chargebacks where necessary.
\nDebtors Reports\/Creditors Reports \u2013 ensuring accuracy and completeness of debtor and creditor listings.
\nFinancial Reporting in Compliance with Zambian Law, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local legislation and requirements of the Zambia Companies Act.
\nAnalyze and explain variances between actual and budgeted\/forecasted results
\nDriver expense and fuel management and analysis<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Academic Background: ACCA Finalist \/ CIMA Finalist\/ CA Zambia\/ Degree in Accountancy and ZICA membership.
\nExperience required (minimum): 5 years, preferably in Transport and\/or Logistics and\/or experience in an International Company.
\nMinimum age of 27 years.<\/p>\n
