Job purpose
\nBayport Financial Services is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior IT Assistant to work in Core Banking Support. This role is vital in maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable IT systems to support our daily operations.
\nMain duties<\/p>\n
Manage Windows\/Linux servers and Active Directory\/File shares (user setup, group permissions, account management).
\nAdminister file sharing systems and user access.
\nDatabase Management \u2013 Clearing of logs in Core banking database environment, backup and restore of database environment to UAT, maintenance of database parameters according to Database best practices and SQL scripting
\nOBIEE Administration \u2013 Creation and modifying reports according to user requirements, Creation and deletion of users.
\nMonitoring Core banking DR sync process ensuring 100% synchronization.
\nServer management and monitoring
\nMonitoring Core banking DR sync process ensuring 100% synchronization.
\nManagement of SMS banking system \u2013 Creation and deletion of users on SMS platform, ensure all customers receive transactional texts, escalation to SMS vendor when necessary.
\nMonitoring and management of Digital banking channels (ATM, USSD & Internet Banking), and third-party services (NFS, Bill Payment aggregator and financial switch
\nPerform daily system backups and restores
\nVendor management and ticket logging
\nCore banking system management (EOD\/EOM).
\nParticipate in software development projects for in-house solutions.
\nSoftware development (frontend and backend)<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
\nProven experience in core banking\/fintech, software development and user support.
\nFamiliarity with Active Directory, Linux\/Windows.
\nHands-on experience with cabling and network hardware.
\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
