\nInternal Auditor
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with the organization\u2019s objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory landscape.
\nLead the planning, execution, and reporting of audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes and governance practices.
\nCollaborate with executive leadership, cross-functional teams to identify key risks, assess control environments, and develop audit plans that align with organizational objectives.
\nManage audit engagements from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations.
\nProvide insights and guidance on best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies to the Board for senior management\u2019s implementation.
\nPrepare and present audit reports to the Board and senior management, summarizing findings, risk assessments, and proposed improvements.
\nStay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact the organization.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Professional certification such as, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred.
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
\n4+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role, with a solid understanding of audit methodologies and practices.
\nStrong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
\nProven ability to lead audit engagements and manage multiple priorities effectively.
\nProven ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and board members, presenting complex information clearly<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
Proficiency in audit management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools and analytical techniques to enhance audit effectiveness.<\/p>\n

Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
