(SAEA) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth in our ICT, security, and software solutions portfolio.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nEngage with potential customers to promote various ICT products, security, and software solutions.
\nPlan and execute business development activities and events to increase brand awareness.
\nCollaborate with stakeholders and vendors to strengthen marketing strategies and enhance the company\u2019s presence.
\nConduct market research on trends, competitor offerings, and customer demographics to identify new business opportunities.
\nTrain end-users on software solutions developed by the company.
\nParticipate in pitch sessions to potential clients.
\nContribute to the development and execution of the annual sales plan.
\nMaintain proper documentation of engagements with potential customers.
\nMinimum Qualifications
\nDiploma or higher in Sales & Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
\nExperience
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in ICT services business development with a strong focus on sales and client acquisition.
\nCompetencies & Skills
\nSolid understanding of business development, marketing techniques, and principles.
\nStrong knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM, Dynamics, Excel).
\nIn-depth knowledge of social media platforms and web analytics.
\nExcellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
\nStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
\nCreativity, commercial awareness, and strategic vision.
\nProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a hybrid office environment.
\nExperience with tendering procedures and proposal preparation.
\nA proactive team player with a customer-oriented approach.<\/p>\n
