{"id":5058,"date":"2025-08-27T20:00:21","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T20:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/supervisor-mining-earthworks-civils-at-saea\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T00:14:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T00:14:26","slug":"supervisor-mining-earthworks-civils-at-saea","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5058","title":{"rendered":"Supervisor \u2013 Mining, Earthworks &amp; Civils at SAEA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(SAEA) is seeking a highly experienced Supervisor to oversee various works in the mining and civil engineering sectors.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nPlan, allocate, and monitor work to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety.<br \/>\nOversee execution of earthworks, civil works, and other related activities in line with project specifications.<br \/>\nEnsure adherence to company procedures, mining safety standards, and statutory regulations.<br \/>\nProvide guidance, training, and performance management of operators and drivers.<br \/>\nManage and monitor plant hire equipment utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.<br \/>\nLiaise with project managers and clients on progress, challenges, and resource allocation.<br \/>\nSupervise daily operations of operators (excavators, dozers, loaders, compactors, TLBs, forklifts) and tipper drivers.<br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications &amp; Requirements<br \/>\nDiploma or Certificate in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (an added advantage).<br \/>\nAt least 5 years\u2019 supervisory experience in mining, civil works, and plant hire management.<br \/>\nProven track record in managing earthworks and civil construction projects.<br \/>\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nKnowledge of heavy equipment operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.<br \/>\nAbility to work in challenging mining environments with minimal supervision.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
