\nJob Purpose:
\nOversees the day-to-day financial operations of a company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
\nResponsible for ensuring proper management of the company\u2019s white fuels by maintains and updates stock records, responsible for conducting physical stock counts, perform regular stock reconciliations and overall monitoring of stock transactions.
\nResponsible for managing accounting records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the finance department
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Accounting Operations:\u00a0Oversee all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Financial Reporting:\u00a0Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Budgeting and Forecasting:\u00a0Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against forecasts.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Compliance:\u00a0Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Internal Controls:\u00a0Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Audit Liaison:\u00a0Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Financial Analysis:\u00a0Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
\n8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Risk Management:\u00a0Assist in identifying and managing financial risks.
\n9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strategic Planning:\u00a0Contribute to the development of the company\u2019s financial strategy and business plan.
\n10.\u00a0 Receive customer orders and create Marketing Orders as per customer specifications and using laid down process & procedures.
\n11.\u00a0 Prepare Proforma Invoices as requested by customers and as requested by the Sales Manager and approved by Managing Director
\n12.\u00a0 File all documents for the department, including letters, sales documents, supply contracts etc in a manner that will easily retrieved and presented.
\n13.\u00a0 Work on all Administrative issues as pertaining to the office of Commercial Manager
\nPrincipal Accountabilities:
\nEnsures the existence and correct valuation of all stocks.
\nReviews selling price uploads for all products and ensuring correct prices in the ERP system as shared by the pricing team
\nAllocates and apportions other cost of sales entries into product delivered margins
\nPerforms monthly analysis of sales, cost of sales and margins performance.
\nPrepares the weekly and monthly Margins Analysis Report.
\nPrepares the monthly Consolidated Income Statement.
\nFacilitates and participates in monthly, half yearly and annual stock counts.
\nCoordinates with Operations team to implement and ensure a control system to reduce losses and inventory obsolescence.
\nPrepare reconciliations of local and export entries to ensure that all entries are fully accounted for.
\nMaintain a schedule of truck receipts EX-other depots and circulate transit losses to the logistics team for processing.
\nEnsure systematic filling of all accounting documents to guarantee easy tracing.
\nEnsure compliance with the company\u2019s documented procedures and internal controls.
\nJob Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
\nAccounting Expertise:\u00a0Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
\nAnalytical Skills:\u00a0Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
\nCommunication Skills:\u00a0Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
\nProblem-Solving Skills:\u00a0Ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in an accounting position within a Commercial organization.
\nProficient in using ERP systems, preferably Oracle
\nExperience in preparing financial reports in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
\nAbility to evaluate alternatives and make recommendations to management on business issues.
\nA person of high integrity, confidentiality, self-driven and able to work under minimal supervision.
