Luangwa Child Development Agency (LCDA) is a duly registered Non- Governmental Organization operating in Luangwa districts of Lusaka province and Nyimba District of Eastern province of Zambia.\u00a0 LCDA has been in operation since 2009. The organization seek to provide support to the deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and youth\u00a0 with a focus on: health; education; child protection; livelihood; advocacy; and gender.
\nLCDA is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the underlisted vacant positions:

\n1. Driver & Logistics\u00a0\u00a0(1 Position \u2013 Luangwa District)
\nTechnical Focus:
\nThe incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, technical soundness, cleanliness and comfort of the vehicle(s) assigned.
\nTasks and responsibilities:
\nDrive LCDA Staff and their visitors on official trips.
\nUndertake official trips to project sites across the districts as required by the Manager\/Supervisor.
\nLog official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, transportation\/vehicle related expenditures, vehicle servicing, repairs, etc;
\nEnsure day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle(s); checks oil, water, battery, tyres, etc; perform minor repairs and timely arrange for any other repairs necessary to keep the vehicle safe and technically sound at all times; maintain the vehicle(s) in clean condition.
\nHandle local and Organizational formalities in case of\u00a0 an accident and ensure that in such\u00a0 cases all organisational and local country rules, regulations and procedures are followed correctly.
\nCollect and deliver mail, documents, materials and other communications\/ items to and from the project office; project sites and other project related institutions and keep record as required.
\nParticipate in duties while at the project site with superiors
\nPerform any other duties as required.
\nMinimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nPossession of valid driver\u2019s license.
\nAt least 2 years of work experience as a driver with national and international NGOs
\nWorking knowledge of English
\nMust be computer literate<\/p>\n
