\nKey Responsibilities
\na)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Financial Transactions &
\nBookkeeping:<\/p>\n
Accurately record financial transactions in line with company accounting procedures.
\nPrepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.<\/p>\n
b)\u00a0\u00a0 Accounts Payable & Receivable:<\/p>\n
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
\nAssist in debtors and creditors reconciliations and ensure timely follow-ups.<\/p>\n
c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reporting & Compliance:<\/p>\n
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
\nSupport audits and ensure compliance with Zambian tax laws and financial regulations.<\/p>\n
d)\u00a0\u00a0 Payroll & Budget Support:<\/p>\n
Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
\nProvide support in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring.<\/p>\n
e)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Record Management:<\/p>\n
Maintain proper records and filing of all financial documents.
\nSafeguard confidentiality and accuracy of financial information<\/p>\n
f)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Compliance:<\/p>\n
Preparing and Submitting NAPSA, NHIMA & ZRA returns.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
\nDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
\nNot less than One (1) relevant work experience.
\nProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nHigh level of integrity and ability to work in a team environment.<\/p>\n
