\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including wholesale, commercial, and retail fuel customers.
\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
\nConduct market research to identify trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs within the fuel distribution sector.
\nAssist in the preparation and submission of proposals, quotations, and tenders.
\nDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand the company\u2019s customer base.
\nMonitor sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend action plans to improve business results.
\nSupport the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
\nCoordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery of fuel to clients.
\nAttend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to enhance the company\u2019s visibility.
\nEnsure all sales and business development activities comply with legal, safety, and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies:<\/p>\n
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
\nAbility to build and manage long-term client relationships.
\nCommercial awareness and analytical thinking.
\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\nKnowledge of fuel supply chain and market dynamics.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<\/p>\n
Volume of new business generated (litres or revenue)
\nClient retention and satisfaction rates.
\nNumber of sales calls, meetings, and successful proposals.
\nMarket share growth in assigned territories or segments.
\nTimeliness and accuracy of reports and forecasts.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nDiploma or Degree in any Business Field (Marketing or Finance will be advantageous)
\nThree or more Years related experience preferably an OMC
