{"id":5155,"date":"2025-09-03T10:02:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T10:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/radiology-technologist-at-coptic-hospital\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T00:14:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T00:14:27","slug":"radiology-technologist-at-coptic-hospital","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5155","title":{"rendered":"Radiology Technologist at Coptic Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>POSITION: RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST<br \/>\nDate: 2nd September, 2025<br \/>\nJob Description: Radiology Technologist<br \/>\nWe are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.<br \/>\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.<br \/>\nAdministering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.<br \/>\nPositioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and\u00a0 ensuring patients\u2019 comfort.<br \/>\nInserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.<br \/>\nMonitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.<br \/>\nProducing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients\u2019 records.<br \/>\nOrganizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.<br \/>\nPerforming administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.<br \/>\nPerforming scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Other: Perform any other lawful duties as assigned.<br \/>\nRequirements:<\/p>\n<p>Diploma or bachelor\u2019s degree in Radiology.<br \/>\nA License to Practice Radiography.<br \/>\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.<br \/>\nGood mathematical abilities and technical skills.<br \/>\nGood organizational, time management, and analytical abilities, and attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
