The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all import processes for equipment, machinery, and raw materials critical to our operations. This position requires a professional willing to relocate to either Livingstone or Kabwe.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nPrepare, verify, and process all import documentation, including Bills of Entry, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.<br \/>\nCreate and maintain \u201cdummies\u201d and document templates for faster clearance processes.<br \/>\nLiaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth import operations.<br \/>\nMonitor import shipments, track timelines, and proactively resolve delays.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with Zambian customs regulations and international trade laws.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of all imports and provide regular reports to management.<br \/>\nAssist in cost analysis, planning, and forecasting of import needs for operations.<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Experience<br \/>\nDiploma or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.<br \/>\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in an import\/export or logistics role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.<br \/>\nProven experience in preparing Bills of Entry and handling customs verifications.<br \/>\nStrong understanding of customs regulations, HS codes, and tariff classifications.<br \/>\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.<br \/>\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.<br \/>\nWillingness to relocate to Livingstone or Kabwe.<br \/>\nKey Competencies<br \/>\nHigh attention to detail and organizational skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.<br \/>\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.<br \/>\nTeam player with strong interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nProfessional integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive documentation.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
