As we expand, we are seeking 9 qualified Laboratory Technician to join our technical team and support our operations with precise and timely laboratory analysis.<br \/>\nPosition Overview:<br \/>\nThe Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting material testing and quality control procedures for both the manganese and steel operations. This role requires hands-on experience in laboratory procedures, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of metallurgical and mineral testing standards.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nPerform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on manganese ore, alloys, steel, and other materials.<br \/>\nPrepare, analyze, and report on samples using standard procedures and laboratory equipment (AAS, XRF, titration, etc.).<br \/>\nSupport process control and quality assurance by ensuring timely and accurate lab results.<br \/>\nMaintain proper documentation of test results and calibrations.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.<br \/>\nCollaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational efficiency.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nDiploma or Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Science, or a related field.<br \/>\nlaboratory experience in mining, metallurgy, or steel manufacturing environments.<br \/>\nProficient in using lab equipment for chemical and physical analysis.<br \/>\nKnowledge of international and local standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) for material testing.<br \/>\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nDesirable Attributes:<br \/>\nExperience working in both ferrous and non-ferrous metal testing.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with environmental monitoring in an industrial setting.<br \/>\nCommitment to safety and continuous improvement.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
