\nJob Summary:\u00a0ACTCO Accountants is seeking a results oriented Audit Associate to join our Audit & Assurance team. The successful candidate will support audit engagements, ensure efficient and effective execution of audits in compliance with standards, and deliver high-quality work to clients.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist in planning including risk assessments , and completion of audit engagements.
\nPerform analytical reviews, and substantive audit testing.
\nPrepare audit documentation and working papers in line with professional standards.
\nSupport in drafting management letters and audit reports.
\nLiaise with clients to gather financial data and provide audit support.
\nMaintain confidentiality and always uphold professional ethics.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
\nStudying towards ACCA\/CA Zambia qualification and must have minimum of a Diploma or better.
\nMinimum of 1 year experience in audit or accounting.
\nGood understanding of IFRS and auditing standards.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
\nKnowledge and experience of CaseWare will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
2. Job Title: Semi-Senior Audit Associate

\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion for small to medium client and on large clients assist the senior.
\nSupervise and review the work of Audit Associates and trainees.
\nConduct substantive testing, control reviews, and risk assessments.
\nPrepare and review audit files, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
\nCompile financial statements, management letters, and other client deliverables.
\nLiaise with clients, seniors and managers on engagement progress and issues.
\nCoach and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related discipline.
\nProfessional qualification in progress (ACCA\/CA Zambia) \u2013 Fully qualified or two papers to completion.
\nMinimum 2years\u2019 experience in external audit.
\nExcellent attention to detail, self-review and delivery work to expected quality standard
\nSound knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and Zambian financial reporting standards.
\nStrong written and verbal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

3. Job Title: Tax Associate

\nJob Summary:\u00a0ACTCO Accountants is looking for a Tax Associate to join our growing Tax Advisory division. The successful candidate will provide tax compliance and advisory services to clients, ensuring full compliance with Zambian tax laws.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare, review, and file tax computations and returns (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, WHT etc.).
\nAssist in the review of Transfer Pricing documentation and matters
\nAdvise clients on tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters.
\nAssist clients during ZRA audits, queries, and assessments.
\nKeep abreast of changes in Zambian tax legislation.
\nPrepare tax advisory reports and client communications.
\nReview tax computations and provisions for audit engagements.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

4. Job Title: Senior Tax Associate

\nJob Summary:
\nACTCO Accountants are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to lead tax compliance and advisory assignments. The role involves managing complex client matters, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality tax solutions.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory assignments.
\nReview and file complex tax computations and returns (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, WHT, Property Transfer Tax, etc.).
\nPrepare and review Transfer Pricing documentation (TP) and matters including TP local files.
\nProvide tax planning, restructuring, and advisory services.
\nRepresent clients during ZRA audits, assessments, and disputes.
\nMonitor changes in tax legislation and communicate to clients.
\nPrepare and review tax advisory reports and proposals.
\nSupervise and mentor junior tax staff.
\nWork closely with audit teams on tax related matters.
\nAbility to interpret legal documents and undertake research
\nEmbed technology advancements to improve efficiency and management of client information
\nBusiness development and managing a portfolio of clients<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
\nProfessional qualification ACCA\/CA Zambia (Qualified).
\nDiploma in Taxation will be an added advantage.
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in taxation, preferably in a professional services firm.
\nStrong knowledge of Zambian tax laws, regulations, and ability to resolve matters.
\nExcellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
\nLeadership skills with ability to manage multiple client assignments.
