The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager \u2013 Central and will be responsible for providing agronomic advice, training, and technical support to smallholder, emergent farmers and specific commercial farmers, while also driving sales growth of the company\u2019s products within central region.<br \/>\nKey Performance Areas<br \/>\nFarmer Engagement &amp; Technical Support<\/p>\n<p>Deliver agronomic advice on crop nutrition, crop protection, and sustainable practices.<br \/>\nConduct farm visits, demonstrations, and field trials to showcase product performance.<br \/>\nSupport farmers in developing planting schedules, crop calendars, and integrated pest\/disease management programs.<br \/>\nProvide training on safe and effective use of products.<\/p>\n<p>Capacity Building &amp; Training<\/p>\n<p>Organize farmer trainings, field days, and cooperative group sessions.<br \/>\nDevelop and share training materials.<br \/>\nMentor emergent farmers to transition into more productive and commercially viable operations.<\/p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Market Development<\/p>\n<p>Promote company products to farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers in the region.<br \/>\nIdentify sales opportunities and generate demand for company products.<br \/>\nSupport the Regional Manager \u2013 Central with farmer mobilization, marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and product launches.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain strong business relationships with farmers, agro-dealers, and distributors.<br \/>\nTrack and report on product movement, competitor activities, and market trends.<br \/>\nAchieve set sales targets, market share, and product adoption goals in assigned areas.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field<br \/>\nProven ability to achieve sales targets and build strong farmer relationships<br \/>\nExcellent technical knowledge and understanding of crop protection<br \/>\nGood presentation and training facilitation abilities<br \/>\nExcellent interpersonal, negotiation and selling skills<br \/>\nData-driven with strong reporting and record keeping skills<br \/>\nA valid driver\u2019s license and willingness to travel extensively<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
