{"id":5189,"date":"2025-09-04T16:00:35","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T16:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/mechanical-fitter-at-sable-zinc-kabwe-limited\/"},"modified":"2025-12-25T01:30:28","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T01:30:28","slug":"mechanical-fitter-at-sable-zinc-kabwe-limited","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5189","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Fitter at Sable Zinc Kabwe Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Overview:<br \/>\nTo effectively and efficiently perform mechanical maintenance and repair works on all plant \/mobile\/building machinery and equipment.<br \/>\nKey Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Receives daily works schedules in form of works orders or defects dockets on mechanical works to be done during the day\/week.<br \/>\nInterprets engineering mechanical drawings in order to come up with materials, tools and number of employees to execute the works.<br \/>\nDiagnoses the nature of mechanical component defects by carrying out a root cause analysis and determining the required parts and materials for repairs.<br \/>\nReports work progress and completed tasks to the supervisor in order for the works to be evaluated and certified.<br \/>\nComplies with all safety rules and procedures in order to mitigate and eliminate injuries at work place<\/p>\n<p>Education and Work Experience<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of a Grade Twelve (Grade 12) Certificate<br \/>\nCraft Certificate in Mechanical Fitting.<br \/>\nvalid Silicosis certificate<br \/>\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 relevant experience in a mining operation or process plant<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Extensive knowledge of process plant operations and maintenance of plant equipment<br \/>\nAbility to multi-task &amp; work well in a team environment<br \/>\nGood verbal and written communications skills<br \/>\nHigh regard and commitment to safe work practices<br \/>\nParticipate and contribute in safe practice and environmental awareness<br \/>\nDemonstrate personal commitment in regard to safety and environmental practices<\/p>\n<p>Location;\u00a0Ndola<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
