\nINTERNAL CONTROLS AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER \u2013 HEAD OFFICE (1)
\nThe Required Skills for this Role Include:<\/p>\n
Performing detailed process descriptions and walkthroughs.
\nPerforming tests of controls for design and operating effectiveness.
\nTesting related general IT controls.
\nSuggesting mitigations for control inefficiencies and monitoring implementation.
\nPreparing management reports.
\nParticipating in the designing and implementation of policies and procedures.
\nTracking the none compliance to set policies, procedures and legislation.
\nPerforming training to upskill management on control activities.
\nMonitoring and ensuring compliance to reporting timelines set by SEC.
\nKeeping abreast with SEC publications and releases directly impacting the entity and reporting these to the manager.<\/p>\n
The Required Qualifications are:<\/p>\n
Full Grade twelve (12) Certificate with five (5) credits or better.
\nUndergraduate Degree in Accounting\/Finance\/Business Administration added advantage if studying towards full qualification with (ZICA\/ACCA\/CIMA\/CISA).
\nMinimum 2 years of work experience from external audit background in Assurance.
\nRequired Computer Literacy levels including knowledge of excel, word, and PowerPoint and use of accounting packages such as Pastel Evolution.<\/p>\n
