\nCOST ACCOUNTANT (01)
\nJOB OVERVIEW:
\nOur company is looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team on a Fixed Term contract. The ideal candidate will support the Head-Finance by ensuring accurate data collection, financial documentation, and inventory management. This role requires proficiency in Sage Evolution, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. If you have a background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Procurement, and are affiliated with ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, or ZIPS, we encourage you to apply.
\nREPORTING STRUCTURE
\nReports to: Head of Finance
\nInteracts with: All Departments
\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES<\/p>\n
Resource Allocation
\nIntercompany transactions and reconciliations according to transfer pricing requirements
\nStock Management
\nSales Transactions
\nAsset Register Management
\nAuditing and Planning
\nMaintaining and updating BOM
\nDaily, monthly reporting<\/p>\n
REQUIRED SKILLS\/ABILITIES
\n\u2013 Full Grade 12 Certificate
\n\u2013 Prior on-the-job training is an advantage.
\n\u2013 Knowledge of the inventory cycle.
\n\u2013 Strong analytical and communication skills.
\n\u2013 Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
\nTECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
\n\u2013 Proficient in Sage Evolution and Microsoft Office.
\n\u2013 Experience with PC and accounting software.
