\nResponsibilities
\nHelpdesk Support:<\/p>\n
Respond to IT-related issues and queries via email, phone, or in person.
\nLog and track all incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
\nProvide technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
\nTroubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.<\/p>\n
Hardware & Software Maintenance:<\/p>\n
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
\nInstall, configure, and update software and hardware according to company policies.
\nEnsure all equipment is properly maintained and provide support for hardware repairs and upgrades.<\/p>\n
Network & Systems Support:<\/p>\n
Provide basic network and server support, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team members.
\nMonitor and maintain the company\u2019s computer systems and networks, ensuring availability and performance.
\nAssist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Reporting:<\/p>\n
Document issues, resolutions, and help desk processes to improve team knowledge and efficiency.
\nMaintain inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper logging and tracking of equipment.
\nAssist in the development of user guides and training materials for staff.
\nTraining & Support:
\nProvide orientation and guidance to staff on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
\nAssist with the onboarding of new employees by setting up their workstations and configuring necessary software.<\/p>\n
Facilities Management:<\/p>\n
Facility Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment, and systems.
\nMaintain inventory of branch\u00a0 assets, ensuring proper logging and tracking of equipment.
\nSupplier\u00a0 Management: Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services, including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and security.
\nStakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for facility-related inquiries, requests, and concerns from internal stakeholders, including employees and management.
\nBranch scouting<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
\nKnowledge of ITIL practices.
\nBasic experience in server management or networking.
\nMust be a Member of ICTAZ
\n1-2 years of experience in a similar role providing IT support.
\nExperience with Windows operating systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and network troubleshooting.
\nStrong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks.
\nGood communication and customer service skills.
\nAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
\nFamiliarity with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software (e.g., Spiceworks etc.).
\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.
\nElectrical knowledge \u2013 Power backup solutions<\/p>\n

\nAttention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Working Conditions:<\/p>\n
Onsite support and remote troubleshooting.
\nOccasional travel to other branch offices may be required.
\nMay need to work outside regular hours to resolve critical issues.<\/p>\n
