\nThe key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
Manages and motivates staff in regional sales, and direct sales, to achieve set targets;
\nDevelops strong partnership with Agents and partners and initiates joint marketing campaigns;
\nDeploys staff to achieve departmental and Organisational objectives;
\nManages expansion of MTN\u2019s MoMo retail footprint to ensure product availability at \u201carm\u2019s length of desire\u201d;
\nEnsures MTN\u2019s MoMo remains competitive in terms of depth, breadth, customer experience and branding;
\nReviews procedures, policies and work flows to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and services;
\nManages and develops sales promotions strategy and expense budget;
\nEstablishes new distribution channels e.g. MFI\u2019s customers;
\nEnsures establishment and growth of the full MoMo ecosystem with strong focus on merchant recruitment and activity that will deliver desired revenue;
\nInforms and guides MoMo Agents regarding strategy and MTN\u2019s vision, mission and objectives
\nManagement and guidance of channel support team;
\nIn consultation with Head of Mobile Money, provides guidance, leadership and conflict resolution with regard to settling Agent disputes.<\/p>\n
Candidate Requirements<\/p>\n
Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in marketing or Business Administration;
\nDistribution Management, Financial and Budget management training;
\nKnowledge of Financial procedures, procurement procedures etc;
\nKnowledge in Retail \/ Dealer environment setting and Dealer structure methodologies.<\/p>\n
