UNO Energies Zambia is a registered OMC and in the process of opening Fuel Stations across the Country. The company seeks to recruit qualified persons for the role of Technician.
\nJob Purpose
\nThe technician will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of the filling station. Ensuring smooth operation of fuel dispensing equipment, installation and calibration of flow meters, and maintenance of fuel pumps. The role requires hands-on experience and the ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain station
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Install, calibrate, and maintain flow meters in line with company and regulatory standards
\nOperate, maintain and repair fuel pumps to ensure safe and efficient fuel dispensing.
\nCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all station equipment.
\nDiagnose technical faults and implement timely solutions to avoid disruption of operations
\nEnsure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards at all times.
\nMaintain accurate service and maintenance records.
\nProvide technical support during inspections and audits.
\nTrain and guide station attendants on proper handling of pumps and equipment.
\nLiaise with suppliers and service providers for spare parts and specialized technical support when required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma\/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
\nMinimum of 3 years hands on experience working with fuel pumps and flow meters
\nProven experience in installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of fuel station equipment
\nStrong understanding of safety standards in petroleum handling.
