We offer kindergarten to high school (K-12) classes that follow local and international syllabi.<br \/>\nAs an equal opportunity employer, Rhodes Park School requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the position of Computer Studies \u2013 major and any other subject.<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE:<br \/>\nThe Job holder will be responsible for preparing and delivering Computer Studies with any other subject to children in the secondary section of the School. The position holder will be expected to develop and stimulate the learner\u2019s ICT and other competences.<br \/>\nRESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nTaking responsibility for a Computer Studies or any other class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all children in that class<br \/>\nWorking closely with the Head Teacher and colleagues to ensure the effective teaching and learning.<br \/>\nDeveloping and enriching professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, CPDs etc.<br \/>\nEnforcing regulations concerning learners conduct and discipline.<br \/>\nPlanning and implementing a relevant, challenging and rigorous curriculum;<br \/>\nPlanning and delivering lessons, ensuring attention is given to appropriate differentiation<br \/>\nContributing to collaborative learning at all levels of school life<br \/>\nCreating inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge and a range of skills within an environment based on trust, respect and fairness;<br \/>\nSelecting relevant resources and leveraging digital tools to support and enhance learning;<br \/>\nDevelop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances pupil\u2019s learning;<br \/>\nCommunicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues in a professional manner;<br \/>\nProvide appropriate pastoral support as and when necessary;<br \/>\nPlay an active role in the school\u2019s extra-curricular programmes.<br \/>\nAny other assigned duties<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE &amp; PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:<br \/>\nFull Grade 12 certificate with 5 Credit or better;<br \/>\nA Secondary Teacher\u2019s diploma in Computer Studies\/ICTs major with 2 years\u2019 working experience in a reputable School. A Bachelor\u2019s Degree will be an added advantage;<br \/>\nQualified teacher registered and licensed with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)<br \/>\nMust be familiar with the school pathways of Examinations Councils of Zambia (ECZ) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE)<br \/>\nA Growth Mindset<br \/>\nA creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom<br \/>\nGood communication skills, both oral and written<br \/>\nGood administrative and interpersonal skills<br \/>\nStrong critical thinking, problem-solving skills<br \/>\nMust hold high levels of integrity and professionalism<br \/>\nFlexible and Transparent<br \/>\nMust be computer literate<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
