{"id":5353,"date":"2025-09-16T14:02:08","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T14:02:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/industrial-relations-officer-at-reputable-mining-and-mineral-processing-company\/"},"modified":"2025-12-17T00:13:44","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T00:13:44","slug":"industrial-relations-officer-at-reputable-mining-and-mineral-processing-company","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5353","title":{"rendered":"Industrial Relations Officer at Reputable Mining And Mineral Processing Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A medium size copper mining and processing company on the Copperbelt Province is seeking services of an Industrial Relations Officer on fixed term contract basis.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensure that these are well managed and meet the requirement of the company\u2019s policies, best practice and employment legislation.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that all employees are aware of the company\u2019s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Regularly monitor and review the employee compliance to the company\u2019s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide monthly management reports.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Investigate alleged breaches to the company\u2019s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures and initiate redress processes in cases where breaches have occurred.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Induct new employees and employees returning from long absence of duty on the company\u2019s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Perform other duties in the Human Resources Department as assigned by superiors.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSKILLS, COMPETENCIES &amp; ATTRIBUTES<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Computer literate<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Attention to detail<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assertiveness &amp; confidence<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Processes &amp; procedurally driven<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adequate knowledge of the Employment Code and other Labour related applicable statutes<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nrequirements<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Relevant Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maximum age limit is 35 years<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the Mining or other fast moving Industries<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Should be an active member of the ZIHRM<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
