Yalelo is looking for two switched-on and results-driven human resources officers to join our growing team of human resources professionals at our production site and our distribution center in Kitwe, The ideal candidates will work alongside a team of human resources officers responsible for ensuring that the workforce is able to perform optimally and sufficient people are recruited, retained, trained, and supported to fulfill the organization\u2019s goals and commitments.
\nThe Right-Fit Candidate will:<\/p>\n
Handle employee records, ensuring correct and complete data is stored on file (physical and electronic records).
\nComplete monthly payroll inputs and payroll updates.
\nRecruit new employees, and make sure new recruits meet the minimum requirements of employment.
\nInducting new employees and conducting training on company policies and procedures.
\nPreparing contracts of employment for new employees.
\nResolve employee queries relating to health & safety and welfare, among others.
\nHandle disciplinary complaints.
\nPrepare and submit monthly HR reports that include, labour turnover, absenteeism, absentees, Sick Leave, Annual Leave, etc.
\nMonitor employee attendance and performance.
\nAdvising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer\u2019s own employment policies and procedures.
\nAssist with coordinating HR projects.
\nPerform all other HR generalist functions as assigned.<\/p>\n

Qualification & Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree\/diploma in human resource management, psychology, or another related field.
\nMinimum of 2 years of work experience.
\nRefined knowledge of Zambia\u2019s Employment and Labor Laws.
\nMust be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)<\/p>\n
