\nJob Purpose
\nWe are looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee cost-effective procurement processes, provide strategic guidance on sourcing, and ensure strong contractual agreements are in place to support our operations. Reporting to the Head of Services, the Procurement Manager will coordinate the Procurement Committee, manage tenders and supplier relationships, and ensure full compliance with Mary\u2019s Meals policies and financial procedures.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead transparent and accountable procurement of goods and services.
\nCoordinate tenders, the Procurement Committee, and procurement approvals.
\nDevelop procurement documentation, contracts, and annual procurement plans.
\nManage supplier relationships, negotiations, and prequalification processes.
\nMonitor market trends, assess costs, and implement effective procurement strategies.
\nSupport compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement of procurement systems.
\nBuild the capacity of staff in sound procurement practices.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Skills & Experience<\/p>\n
Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, CIPS Professional Diploma).
\nAt least 3-5 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.
\nStrong communication, negotiation, and supervisory skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.
\nValid manual driving licence.<\/p>\n
