\nPOSITION: \u00a0\u00a0COST ACCOUNTANT
\nCONTRACT: PERMANENT
\nLOCATION:\u00a0 LUSAKA
\nReporting to the Management Accountant, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:<\/p>\n
Assist in preparation of the monthly periodic management accounts
\nPreparing monthly cost variance reports
\n\u00a0Periodic collation of raw material pricing for BOMs
\nAssist in budget formulation, implementation and control
\nCoordinate monthly inventory counts
\n\u00a0Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations
\nPerform CWIP analysis and fixed asset capitalization
\nAssist to track fixed assets spent to budget
\nPrepare monthly fixed assets reconciliations
\nPreparing statutory returns for Excise tax
\nProviding accounting, budgeting and management information services<\/p>\n
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
\u00a0Grade 12 Certificate
\nMinimum part qualified CIMA\/ACCA accountant or equivalent in the related field
\n\u00a0 ZICA Membership
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
\n\u00a0 Ability to work with accounting packages
\nKnowledge in SAP is added advantage
\nAbility to advise on management of financial resources<\/p>\n
