The Senior Internal Auditor is directly responsible for ensuring successful completion of assigned audit assignments from start to finish , inclusive of pre planning and wrap up activities by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end, identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk.
\nDevelops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
\nObtains and reviews evidence, ensuring audit conclusions are well documented and based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
\nEnsures adherence at all times to applicable departmental and professional standards.
\nTimely Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate and efficient results.
\nOrganises personal effort to be risk based , productive and efficient at all times
\nEnsures adequate focus on personal professional growth, relevant to taking more challenging assignments, in line with standard audit career progression \u2013 proactively seeks relevant education and training opportunities.
\nPerforms other related duties as assigned<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, finance, technology or the equivalent. A Master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage.
\nProfessional Certification and full membership of ZICA and IIA is a MUST.
\nMinimum 3 year\u2019 experience in accounting, auditing in Microfinance, Financial Sector or Auditing Firm, among of which at least ONE year in supervisory function.<\/p>\n
