\nKey Responsibilities
\nClaims Management<\/p>\n
Assist with the settlement of claims in accordance with internal processes and policy guidelines.
\nAnalyse and review reinsurance claims for accuracy and compliance with policy terms.
\nMaintain thorough, organized, and accurate records of claims.<\/p>\n
Workload & Task Management<\/p>\n
Take ownership of personal workload, reprioritizing tasks to meet critical company deadlines and goals.
\nConduct detailed reviews of claim files to ensure compliance and completeness.
\nHandle administrative tasks including customer support.
\nSupport internal audits and participate in special projects as assigned.
\nDemonstrate expert-level understanding of insurance procedures and systems.<\/p>\n
Application & Information Processing<\/p>\n
Work with internal departments, underwriters, and external stakeholders to gather claim-related information.
\nInterpret policy terms and contracts to make informed recommendations on claims.
\nProcess complex data entries and maintain databases accurately.
\nPrepare, evaluate, and assemble incoming documents for internal handling or external communication.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Compliance<\/p>\n
Prepare regular reports on claim trends, operational performance, process improvement, and recommendations.
\nEnsure processes align with legal and regulatory requirements.
\nProvide accurate, well-written correspondence and documentation for insurance-related activities.<\/p>\n
Team Collaboration & Leadership<\/p>\n
Be a team player.
\nHelp implement and refine operational protocols based on business needs.
\nSupport peers where needed to drive continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in insurance, Business Administration or equivalent. Formal Customer Service training is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite. SICS reinsurance software knowledge is also an added advantage.
