The Assistant Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring vendors and suppliers are paid on time.<br \/>\nThe\u202fRight-Fit\u202fcandidate will:<br \/>\nPayables:<br \/>\nEnsure that payables accounts are reconciled weekly<br \/>\nReview and verify supplier invoices<br \/>\nTrack payments and investigate outstanding payments<br \/>\nEnsure supplier payments are processed within agreed terms<br \/>\nEnsure that all proof of payments are sent to beneficiaries<br \/>\nResolve problems concerning all payables accounts<br \/>\nEnsure effectiveness and efficiency of Adhoc reports<br \/>\nEnsure proper accounting records are kept for all payments and invoices<br \/>\nEnsure month-end close journals\/postings are correct and on time. These include prepayments, revaluations, and accruals<br \/>\nEnsure payment vouchers are signed and authorized by supervisor and authorized signatories<br \/>\nEnsure the work is executed in accordance with accounting principles, policies, and processes regulated by IAS\/IFRS (Accounting standards).<br \/>\nThe Essentials:<br \/>\nSound knowledge of Accounting Principles, Sage Evolution, Data Entry, Vendor Relationships<br \/>\nIn-depth knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and General Accounting Procedures<br \/>\nGood understanding of statutory compliance issues and the Business Environment<br \/>\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience<br \/>\nFinancial Accounting Experience is an added advantage<br \/>\nTertiary Accounting qualification- Level 2 ZICA or ACCA, Degree in Finance\/Accounting \u2013 verified by ZAQA<br \/>\nGrade twelve (12) Certificate \u2013 verified by ZAQA<br \/>\nMust be a fully paid ZICA member<br \/>\nDesired Skills:<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills<br \/>\nProblem-solving skills<br \/>\nAnalytical skills<br \/>\nExcellent attention to details<br \/>\nInterpersonal skills<br \/>\nStrong organizational skills<br \/>\nData Entry Skills<br \/>\nIf this is\u202fYOU, Yalelo wants to hear from you today!!!<br \/>\nThis is a full-time position and the successful candidate must be available to work weekdays and weekends.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
