Women Environs Zambia (WEZ) is a grassroots feminist organisation committed to promoting environmental justice, seed sovereignty, agroecology, and the rights of rural women. We believe in amplifying women\u2019s voices in decision-making spaces and building resilient, sustainable communities.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Support project implementation, monitoring, and reporting for ongoing programmes on climate justice, agroecology, and women\u2019s rights.
\nAssist in community mobilisation, workshops, and trainings with rural women and youth.
\nContribute to documentation (reports, case studies, stories of change, and social media updates).
\nProvide logistical and administrative support for project activities.
\nParticipate in research, data collection, and field visits.
\nWork closely with the Programme Officer to ensure timely delivery of activities.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Agriculture, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
\nStrong commitment to women\u2019s rights, environmental justice, and rural community development.
\nGood communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
\nBasic computer literacy (MS Office, email, social media).
\nAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
\nWillingness to travel to rural districts when required.<\/p>\n
