The successful candidate will require leadership and problem-solving skills to support the organization\u2019s strategic HR objectives.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Organize and facilitate structured interview processes in collaboration with hiring managers.<br \/>\nDraft, review, and issue job offers, employment contracts.<br \/>\nLead onboarding and induction programs to integrate new employees effectively into the company culture.<br \/>\nMonitor employees during probation, conducting periodic evaluations and providing necessary support.<br \/>\nServe as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and concerns.<br \/>\nMediate and resolve workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary cases in a fair and timely manner.<br \/>\nSupport initiatives that drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention.<br \/>\nMonitor and execute staff welfare and wellness programs to enhance employee satisfaction.<br \/>\nAssist in designing and implementing performance management frameworks.<br \/>\nSupport managers in conducting appraisals and provide feedback mechanisms for employee growth.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with Zambian labour laws.<br \/>\nDraft, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives.<br \/>\nMonitor adherence to internal policies and ethical standards, recommending updates where needed.<br \/>\nSupport the roll-out of new HR systems, processes, and initiatives.<br \/>\nProcess monthly payroll accurately and on time, including statutory obligations (NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE).<br \/>\nLiaise with and manage the in-house pension scheme and other employee benefits.<br \/>\nSafeguard sensitive employee data, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and data protection.<br \/>\nHandle Human Resource matters and information with discretion.<br \/>\nProvide HR analytics and reports to management for informed decision-making.<br \/>\nChampion a positive workplace culture, diversity, and inclusion across the company.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.<br \/>\nA minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an HR generalist or Senior HR Officer role.<br \/>\nThorough knowledge of Zambian labour laws (The Employment Code Act, 2019) and HR best practices.<br \/>\nProven experience in Payroll software and computerised HR Information System (HRIS) environment.<br \/>\nExceptional communication (written and oral), organizational, and time-management skills.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity, strong ethics, and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.<br \/>\nDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
