The position requires a strong understanding of HR practices and Zambian labor law, with preference given to candidates who have prior experience working in the logistics or transportation industry. The HR Lead will serve as a trusted advisor to management, a support system for employees, and a driver of HR processes that align with the company\u2019s strategic objectives.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Talent Acquisition &amp; Recruitment:<br \/>\nManage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates, with focus on logistics-related roles.<br \/>\nEmployee Relations:<br \/>\nServe as the main point of contact for staff grievances, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.<br \/>\nEnsure effective communication between management and employees.<br \/>\nPerformance Management:<br \/>\nDrive performance review cycles and support managers in setting KPIs and development plans.<br \/>\nMonitor performance improvement plans where necessary.<br \/>\nCompliance &amp; Policy Management:<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with Zambian labor laws, company policies, and health &amp; safety standards.<br \/>\nDraft, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.<br \/>\nTraining &amp; Development:<br \/>\nIdentify training needs and coordinate capacity-building initiatives.<br \/>\nPromote continuous learning and professional growth across departments.<br \/>\nCompensation &amp; Benefits:<br \/>\nWork with Finance to administer payroll, leave management, and statutory deductions.<br \/>\nRecommend improvements to compensation and benefits structures.<br \/>\nOrganizational Culture &amp; Employee Engagement:<br \/>\nChampion company values and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.<br \/>\nLead staff welfare activities and engagement programs.<br \/>\nHR Systems &amp; Reporting:<br \/>\nMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems.<br \/>\nPrepare HR reports for management, highlighting workforce trends and recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master\u2019s degree is an advantage).<br \/>\nMinimum\u00a05 years of progressive HR experience, at least\u00a02 years in a leadership\/HR supervisory role.<br \/>\nStrong preference for candidates with\u00a0HR experience in a logistics, supply chain, or transport company.<br \/>\nGood knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.<br \/>\nProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.<\/p>\n<p>Core Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nAbility to balance employee needs with organizational objectives.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.<br \/>\nStrong organizational and decision-making abilities.<br \/>\nResults-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
