\nOverview
\nMarthinusen and Coutts Zambia, a division of ACTOM R and S Limited, is seeking a diligent and results-oriented Credit Controller to manage our accounts receivable processes end-to-end. This role is critical to cash flow, customer relationships, and overall business performance.
\nYour Role and Impact<\/p>\n
Manage debtor accounts with accuracy, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
\nIssue monthly statements and ensure invoices are receipted on client enterprise resource planning systems.
\nBuild trust with customers through proactive follow-ups and prompt resolution of outstanding payments and queries.
\nSupport financial reporting with debtor ageing reports and cash flow forecasts.
\nMonitor credit limits, assess risk, and recommend strategic adjustments to minimise bad debt.
\nPartner with internal teams and auditors to resolve queries and uphold compliance and controls.<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For<\/p>\n
Five or more years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning systems.
\nSolid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal controls.
\nDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
\nSuitable candidates must be\u00a0registered members of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants,\u00a0as prescribed by the\u00a0Accountants Act of 2008.
\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
\nHigh attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.<\/p>\n
